01Can I cancel any time?

Yes - cancel from Settings any time and you keep access through the end of your paid period. After that, your account drops to Solo (free) so your data stays put and you can pick up where you left off.

02How does billing work?

Solo is free forever - no card required. Pro and Studio are billed monthly by default; switch to annual at any time from your settings page and pay ten months for twelve. We accept all major cards, Apple Pay, and ACH bank transfer for US customers.

03Is there a free trial of Pro or Studio?

Every paid account starts with a 14-day trial. You can bounce between tiers inside the trial - if you settle on Pro or Studio by day 14, we charge the plan you picked. Otherwise we drop you back to the free Solo tier and keep your data exactly as you left it.

04How do you keep my financial data safe?

All connections use bank-grade TLS. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256, and we are SOC 2 Type II audited. We never sell or share your data, and only the staff who need it for support can see it - with full audit logs.

05Do I have to connect a bank account?

Connecting a bank feed makes expense categorization much easier, but it's optional. You can upload CSV statements, email receipts, or enter transactions by hand - Tally works with whatever you have.

06Can I import from QuickBooks or Wave?

Yes - Pro and Studio can pull clients, invoices, and transaction history from QuickBooks Online, Wave, and FreshBooks in a single guided import. Solo customers can upload a CSV and we'll get them most of the way there.

07What happens if I do not have an accountant?

Tally is built so a solo freelancer can do quarterly tax prep without one. Schedule C exports are formatted to drop straight into TurboTax, FreeTaxUSA, or H&R Block. When you eventually work with a CPA, invite them with a click - they get a read-only seat for free.

08What kind of support do you offer?

Every plan gets email support with a real human reply within one business day. Pro plans also get a one-on-one onboarding call in your first month. Studio plans get priority response in under four hours, scheduled check-ins, and a named point of contact.
